Recreational Youth Baseball

If North Seattle Rainiers Select Baseball is a little too much commitment we recommend North Seattle Youth Baseball recreational programs as an alternative.

North Seattle Baseball is the premier competitive youth baseball league in Seattleā€™s north end, using PONY rules to offer kids a complete, dynamic baseball experience and a game that includes lead offs, age-appropriate base path and pitching distances; stealing; and all the nuances of the game.

Our practice and game fields are conveniently located in north and northeast Seattle. Most games are played at Meadowbrook Park, Dahl Field, Pinehurst or Jane Adams School (Summit), with natural grass and turf fields available. We have an excellent working relationship with Seattle Public Schools and Seattle Parks, so we're experts at getting our games in, even in the wet Seattle spring. And in the summer, we form tournament and All Star teams for kids who want to play further into the season.

We are the only league in the area to own and operate our own indoor batting cage facility with four indoor cages, meeting areas, and team fitness space. This facility provides our players with year-round opportunity to hit, hang out, and prepare for the season.

What's more, PONY baseball doesn't define or enforce confusing or restricting boundaries, so families in all of Seattle, Shoreline, and even the East Side can play together! We support Buddy Ball whenever we can, balancing the interests of school-affiliated kids to play together, with the objective of building competitive teams in each division.

We also encourage participation for all players, regardless of disability or gender.  NSB supports and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
